Enroll in our driver's ed program when you turn 15 and Driving 101 can issue you a permit waiver in lieu of taking the written test. Take the permit waiver to the Department of Licensing up to 10 days prior to the first day of class.

You may take the written test at the Department of Licensing to attain your instructional permit once you're 15 1/2.
Please bring the following with you to the Department of Licensing:

The DOL will print your permit.

Please note:
You will need your permit by the second week of drivers ed.
If you are under 18 years old, you must hold your permit for a minimum of 6 months prior to applying for your driver's license and have practiced 50 hours. |
